This is our story

We started off as an award winning house cleaning company and morphed into a beloved and trusted laundry establishment. We serve PG County, Montgomery County and some parts of Northern VA. I've been using Upper Crust Laundry for all of my laundry needs for the last year...and I LOVE them! They have always been extremely flexible with pick-ups and drop-offs and the rates are great. There's normally a 2-3 day turnaround time and everything comes back smelling GREAT, folded and separated. I literally just have to put my laundry away (which unfortunately takes me longer than it should). I literally put everything in a bag and schedule a pick-up and they get dropped back off.

Do you have hidden fees?

We are a transparent company. Gas is expensive and time cannot be retrieved. Therefore, we charge $25 if we go to pick up laundry and the client does not have the laundry out. It's called a "lock out". We charge a $40 transport fee for infected (bed bugs) laundry. Clients are required to bag their own laundry. In a few cases we have had to bag laundry. We charge $10 per bag when we have to bag it. That does not include the cleaning fee.

Do you offer dry cleaning?

We have a trusted partner who handles dry cleaning on behalf of our clients. We handle the laundry internally.

Do you pick up from hotels or motels

We no longer accept hotel or motel laundry clients. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Do you take rush orders?

We are NOT accepting rush orders at this time. We require 2 to 3 days for regular laundry and up to 2 weeks for huge orders or bed bug infected laundry.

What are your dry cleaning fees?

What are your fees?

Regular laundry $2.50 per pound Infected laundry (bed bugs) $5.00 per pound

What happens if we forget to put out the laundry?

We are a small company with limited resources in a situation where gas prices are high and unpredictable from day to day. We charge a $25 "lock out" fee if we go to a residence and the laundry is not there.

What is the turn around time?

Generally 2 to 3 days. Longer for contaminated laundry or huge orders.

What is your minimum for pickup?

As fuel prices have increased, we have had to increase our minimum to $50 for a pick up. If you have less than a $50 order, we still must charge our minimum.

What payments do you accept?

Clients are required to put a CC on file and we charge by CC. We do have a few clients (usually older clients) who pay by check; however, we only accept checks from established clients.
